Bepanthene Ointment

Clean and dry the affected area and apply a thin layer of Bepanthene Ointment. Renew the application whenever necessary.

Indications: Bepanthene Ointment is a Non-Prescription Medicine indicated in baby's skin care as a protective barrier against diaper maceration and as a prevention and treatment of diaper irritation, redness and erythema and in breastfeeding mothers, for breast care during the breastfeeding period. Bepanthene Ointment is also indicated to promote healing and epithelialization of recent scars, superficial wounds and abrasions, to heal lesions and skin irritations after radiotherapy, phototherapy or exposure to UV light, chronic and decubitus ulcers, skin grafts, in prevention and treatment of dry and irritated, rough or chapped skin. It is contraindicated in case of allergy or hypersensitivity to any of the constituents. It should be used with caution in patients with hemophilia or mechanical intestinal obstruction. For the treatment of wounds and burns with a risk of infection, the use of Bepanthene Plus is recommended. Bepanthene can be used in pregnancy and lactation without risk to the mother, baby or fetus.
