How to Use
Apply, locally and with the help of soaked cotton, on the affected region, 3 to 4 times a day. Clean the area with soap and water and dry before applying. This medication should not be used in large areas or for more than 7 days, except under medical advice.
Indications: Caladryl is a Non-Prescription Medicine belonging to the pharmacotherapeutic group of medicines used for skin disorders. Caladryl soothes and relieves skin irritations associated with hives, contact dermatitis, other mild skin conditions, insect bites and sunburn. This medicine is contraindicated in case of allergy or hypersensitivity to any of the constituents, in children under the age of 12 years. It should not be used on blistered skin or on mucous membranes, in skinned areas or if you are taking another medicine containing diphenhydramine or antihistamines. Do not apply to large areas of the skin. Avoid contact with the eyes. After applying Caladryl, avoid sun exposure. Caladryl contains camphor, so it can be harmful if ingested. Camphor cannot be applied to children's nostrils even in small amounts, as it can cause immediate collapse. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
