How to Use
Apply 1 time a day, preferably at night, in a thin layer covering the area to be treated and rubbing lightly. In case of mycosis of the foot and hand, you should apply the medicine for 3 weeks. In versicolor ptyriasis, you must apply the medication for 2 weeks. In the treatment of the exposed nail after removal of the infected area, the cream should be applied for 4 weeks.
Indications: Canesten Unidia Creme is a non-prescription drug whose active substance is bifonazole, a drug belonging to the group of antifungal substances. This drug has a broad spectrum of activity, allowing the effective elimination of a large number of fungi responsible for various skin diseases called dermatomycoses, located on the hands and feet. It is equally effective in pityriasis versicolor. It is indicated for the local treatment of various fungal infections, namely mycosis of the hands and feet (athlete's foot), pityriasis versicolor. This medicine is contraindicated in case of known allergy or hypersensitivity to any of the constituents of Canesten Unidia. If you are allergic or intolerant to ketostearyl alcohol, you should use, instead of the cream, a bifonazole formulation that does not contain this component, such as Canesten Unidia solution for skin spraying. If in doubt, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
