How to Use
Infants: 1 - 1.5 times the usual daily food volume. Children (1-12 years): 1 sachet after each injection (200 ml) Adults (including elderly patients): 1 or 2 sachets after each injection (200 - 400 ml) In the beginning, larger quantities may be needed to quickly compensate for lost fluids.
Indications: Dioralyte is a Non-Prescription Drug that, after being dissolved in water, is a solution indicated to correct the loss of water and salts in infants, children and adults in case of diarrhea and / or vomiting. This medicine is contraindicated in case of abdominal obstruction, if you have persistent vomiting and severe dehydration or severe childhood diarrhea, as in these cases intravenous therapy is necessary. Like all medicines, Dioralyte can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Nausea or vomiting may occur after administration of the solution, especially if it is swallowed too quickly, symptoms of abdominal discomfort and constipation may appear. This medicine is for oral administration. Do not add salt or sugar to the Dioralyte. If in doubt, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
