How to Use
Initial daily dose in adult and adolescent patients: 1 to 3 sachets per day. Daily maintenance dose in adult and adolescent patients: 1 to 2 sachets per day. Initial daily dose for children aged 7 to 14 years: 1 sachet per day. Maintenance dose for children aged 7 to 14 years: 1 sachet per day. Initial dose in children aged 1 to 6 years: 5-10mL. Maintenance dose in children aged 1 to 6 years: 5-10mL. Initial dose in infants under 1 year of age: up to 5mL. Maintenance dose in infants under 1 year of age: up to 5mL. Doses should be taken at the same time each day.
Indications: Duphalac is a non-prescription drug that contains a laxative called lactulose. This drug makes stools soft by drawing water into the intestinal lumen and facilitating evacuation.
