Indications: Hansaplast Thermal Plaster 4.8 mg is a Non-Prescription Drug in the form of a Medicinal Plaster. Each patch contains 112-167 mg of cayenne pepper extract, corresponding to 4.8 mg of capsaicinoids, calculated in capsaicin, with action to relieve muscle pain. This medicine is indicated in case of muscle pain, namely in case of low back pain. It is intended for external use. It should not be placed close to the eyes or mucous membranes. The plaster is contraindicated in case of allergy or hypersensitivity to any of the constituents, in case of injured skin. The medicine contains lanolin which may contain traces of butylated hydroxy-toluene (E321), which can cause local reactions. You should consult your doctor before using this medicine if you suffer from acute pain accompanied by redness, swelling or hyperthermia in the joints, if you have existing joint problems or if your low back pain is severe and radiates to your legs or if it is associated with neurological syndromes such as numbness or tingling. How to Use
Cutaneous Use. Apply 1 plaster a day to the intact, dry skin of the painful area. To put it on, you must remove the plaster protection and place it with the adhesive side on the skin.
