How to Use
Adults: Start by taking 2 orodispersible tablets, followed by 1 tablet after each injection. If the stools become hard or pass 24 hours after the last injection, do not take more Imodium. Do not exceed 8 tablets daily. Children over 6 years of age: Start by taking 1 tablet, followed by 1 tablet after each injection. Stop treatment if the stool becomes hard or if 24 hours have passed since the last injection.
Indications: Imodium Rapid is a non-prescription medication indicated for the treatment of diarrhea. This medicine makes stools solid and less frequent. It is indicated in case of sudden diarrhea or for long-term diarrhea. It can be taken in case of surgery with removal of part of the intestines, as it is often a cause of diarrhea. This medicine is contraindicated in case of allergy or hypersensitivity to loperamide or any other constituent, in children under the age of 6 years, in case of blood in the stool or in case of high fever, in case of inflammation of the small intestine, in situations of bacterial enterocolitis caused by invasive organisms, in cases where the doctor has informed you of clinical situations in which the decrease in the functioning of the intestine must be avoided. In case of constipation, do not take or stop taking Imodium. If in doubt, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
