Indications: Infacalm Oral Drops Emulsion is a non-prescription medication whose active substance is simethicone. This medication works by reducing surface tension and facilitating the removal of gas bubbles present in the gastrointestinal tract and responsible for colic and malaise. Simethicone prevents painful flatulence that results from the entry of air during a meal or by taking medications that neutralize gastric juice. This medicine is not absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract. It is indicated in case of gas accumulation in the gastrointestinal tract, as a measure of therapeutic support for preparing patients for auxiliary diagnostic tests. Infacalm is contraindicated in case of allergy or hypersensitivity to the active substance or any other constituent and in children under the age of 28 days. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
