How to Use
Apply in a thin layer. In case of endotracheal intubation: apply directly to the tube. In stomatology: Apply to the previously dried oral mucosa and let it act for at least 3 to 5 minutes, so that it exerts its effect. On the painful nipple: Apply on a small gauze pad and remove the ointment before the next breastfeeding.
Indications: Lidonostrum Ointment is a Non-Prescription Drug belonging to the pharmacotherapeutic group of local anesthetics and antipruritic agents. This medicine is indicated for temporary relief of pain caused by burns and slight abrasions of the skin, such as, for example, sunburn, Herpes zoster and cold sores, nipple irritation, insect bites, and for anesthesia of mucous membranes, such as, for example, in the case of hemorrhoids and anal fissures, to relieve pain during some semi-logical and instrumental maneuvers, such as, for example, in proctoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, cystoscopy, endotracheal intubation, it is also used as a superficial anesthetic of the gums before injection, cleaning of tartar and the application of dental prosthetics. Lidonostrum Ointment is contraindicated in case of allergy or hypersensitivity to any of the constituents of the drug. If in doubt, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
