How to Use

Children up to 3 years: 1 microlax tube. Instructions for use: Remove the cannula cap or break the cannula seal. Lightly compress the tube until a drop appears at the end of the cannula and insert it into the rectum. Slowly compress the tube and remove the cannula keeping the tube compressed.

Usage Advice

Indications: Microlax is a non-prescription medication belonging to the therapeutic group of contact laxatives. Its active substances, sodium citrate and sodium lauryl sulfoacetate, allow the rectum and colon to be evacuated through the peptization of fecal matter. This process allows the liquidization of feces, allowing a smooth evacuation without affecting the mucosa and without causing local or systemic reactions. The desired effect occurs after 5 to 20 minutes of administration. Microlax is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of rectal or recto-sigmoid constipation, encopresis, constipation during pregnancy, constipation associated with childbirth and surgery, in the preparation of the rectum and sigmoid for endoscopic exams.
