How to Use
One dose is equivalent to a medicated plaster. A maximum dose is a medicated patch for a single 24-hour period.
Indications: Nurofen Musc Medicinal Plaster is a Non-Prescription Drug whose active substance is ibuprofen. This drug belongs to the group of medicines called Nonsteroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs, which change the way the body responds to pain, swelling and high temperature. The medicated plaster releases ibuprofen locally and continuously at the site of pain for 24 hours. This medicine is indicated for the short-term symptomatic treatment of local pain in acute muscle strains or sprains, in benign traumatic injuries near the joints of the upper or lower limbs, in adults and adolescents aged 16 years and over. This medicine is contraindicated in case of known allergy or hypersensitivity to ibuprofen, acetylsalicylic acid or other NSAIDs or any other constituent, if you have had an allergic reaction before any NSAID and in the last 3 months of pregnancy. You should not use this medicine on damaged, infected skin, with exudative dermatitis or eczema or on your eyes, lips or mucous membranes. If in doubt, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
