Phillips Magnesia Milk

As anti-acid: Adults and children aged 12 years and over: 5-15 ml. If necessary, you can repeat the dose up to a maximum of 60 ml daily. Children aged 2-11: 5 ml. If necessary, you can repeat the dose up to a maximum of 30 ml daily. As Laxative: Adults and children aged 12 years and over: 30-45 ml at bedtime. Repeat the treatment every night, reducing the dose until constipation stops. Children older than 3 years: 5-10 ml at bedtime. Intakes can be made with milk or water.

Indications: Milk of Magnesia Phillips is a Non-Prescription Medicine indicated for the treatment of constipation and situations resulting from gastro-oesophageal reflux and hyperacidity. This medicine is indicated in case of heartburn, infarction and indigestion. It is contraindicated in case of allergy or hypersensitivity to magnesium hydroxide or any other component. Osmotic laxatives, as in the case of Milk of Magnesia Phillips, can cause diarrhea and dehydration, so it is advisable to maintain an adequate supply of fluids during treatment with this medication. If you experience diarrhea, you should immediately stop taking the medicine. Do not use Milk of Magnesia Phillips as a laxative for more than 3 consecutive days, or as an anti-acid for more than 14 consecutive days. If you do not see improvement or if your symptoms get worse during treatment with Milk of Magnesia Phillips, consult your doctor. If in doubt, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
