How to Use
Instill 3 to 5 drops of Otoceril in the ear and let it act for 10 to 30 minutes. You should cover the ear canal with a cotton ball soaked in petroleum jelly to prevent the liquid from draining. Treat for 2 to 5 days and wash if necessary.
Indications: Otaceril Gotas Auriculares is a Non-Prescription Drug belonging to the group of drugs used in otorhinolaryngological disorders. This medication is indicated to facilitate the removal of the earwax from the external ear canal. Para-dichlorobenzene dissolves the wax while benzocaine acts as a local anesthetic and chlorobutanol acts as an antiseptic thanks to its antibacterial and antifungal properties. The combination of the 3 substances resulted in the effective removal of the cerumen and protection from possible local irritation. This medication is contraindicated in case of otitis externa and seborrheic dermatitis or eczema affecting the outer ear, in case of allergy or hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any constituent.
