Usage Advice

Indications: Polysulfadê ointment is a non-prescription drug with antibiotic action. It is indicated for the short-term topical treatment of superficial infections, small degree I and II burns infected by sensitive microorganisms, pyoderma, folliculitis, contagious impetigo, ectima, infectious eczematoid dermatitis. This medicine is contraindicated in children under the age of 2 years, in case of known allergy or hypersensitivity to polymyxin and bacitracin or any other component of the ointment. This medicine should not be used continuously for more than a week, nor should it be used for three months after the successful treatment cycle. Do not use on occlusive dressings. If in doubt, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
