How to Use
Take the tablet whole and with water, preferably up to 12 hours after unprotected sex and up to 72 hours after it. It can be taken at any stage of the master's cycle, as long as you are not pregnant. If you are already using a regular method of contraception such as the contraceptive pill, you can continue to take it at the usual time.
Indications: Postinor Tablet is a Non-Prescription Drug belonging to the group of emergency contraceptives. This medicine can be used up to 72 hours after unprotected sex or if your usual contraceptive method has failed. This medicine is indicated in cases where there is a risk of conception if contraception was not used during sexual intercourse, if the contraceptive measure was used incorrectly, if the vaginal pessary or diaphragm changed position, burst or broke or was withdrawn ahead of time, in case of failure during withdrawal. Postinor contains a synthetic substance similar to the natural hormone that prevents 84% of expected pregnancies if taken within 72 hours after unprotected sex. It will not always prevent pregnancy and is more effective if taken 12 hours after unprotected sex. This medicine does not work if you are already pregnant or if there is new unprotected sex after taking Postinor and there is a new risk of pregnancy. If in doubt, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
