Seresto''s unique formula allows it to release low doses of the two active substances. It has an adequate safety profile for companion animals, family and the environment when used as directed. Its function is to prevent the spread of mosquitoes, fleas, ticks and lice, in addition to protecting homes from these annoying parasites. The collar contains imidacloprid which eliminates and prevents the multiplication of fleas and lice. On the other hand, flumethrin prevents ticks from feeding on the animal''s blood. These components are in the matrix of the collar and only the indicated doses are released when putting it on. The active principles spread over the surface of the animal, protecting it from any external invasion. Its ingredients are dermatologically tested so as not to harm the dog''s skin.
